He’s right now the man everyone was waiting for in the PSVita scene. Thanks to YiFanlu and his awesome tutorials with the Vita’s hardware, Katsu has taken this a step further and managed to open the door for downgrading on the PSVita, plus being able to dump cartridges from Vita Games. And he’s done it again.
This time, as he posted on his twitter @xmaxkatsu, he was able to play what was happening on his Vita to his TV via HDMI.
It’s true that there was already a “hack” very similar to this, but it was way too expensive, about 150$ right now, which would be another Vita basically. So, what’s the difference? Well, as he mentions in this tweet it’s quite cheap and easy to setup.
