I feel like a fool for even saying it, but is it possible that The Walking Dead will finally be as great as it should be? If this 4-minute season 4 trailer is at all accurate, then the answer might be yes.
Rick and crew look more competent and prepared than they ever have — and there's clearly drama that doesn't seem to be based solely on people making dumb decisions. Seriously, the way they take the grocery store? Awesome. Carol teaching knife class? Awesome. The zombies slowly overwhelming the prison despite all the shit everybody's done to fortify it? Awesome. A car that can't drive off because the wheel is on top of too much zombie gore? Awesome-est.
It's obviously too soon to say, but goddamn this trailer makes The Walking Dead look great. I guess we'll know when season 4 premieres on October 13th.
